Screening program for the celiac disease

Diametra is proud to announce that it has started a screening program for the celiac disease of a large population of voluntary blood donors.
The study , sponsored by AVIS , the major Italian institution of blood donors , will be made in cooperation with Centralized Laboratory of the Ospedali Riuniti di Bergamo.
The screening, by the involvement of more than 30.000 blood donors, is the largest ever made in the world and it will take two years for its completion.
The donors blood samples will be assayed, among other diagnostic kits, with the Diametra Anti Deamidated Peptides of the Gliadin DKO106 and DKO107.
